Each room has a ceiling fan. No parties are allowed. A sparkling enclosed pool is available for the guests to enjoy. All are serviced daily except Sundays and public holidays. Bath towels, all linen and dishcloths are supplied – bring beach towels. The House - For privacy let only to one family or a group of friends.
Sleeps four to seven people. The House, surrounded by a garden, has a very large stoep with a built-in braai (BBQ). It has a lounge/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and scullery, three bedrooms with sea views, two bathrooms and a lock-up double garage.
The Embuia - Ideal for a family.
Sleeps two to four people. The main en-suite bedroom has a fully equipped kitchenette, a TV/Lounge area and can be used as a bachelor flat. The second en-suite bedroom has two single beds and a private outside entrance. The front door opens onto a sea-facing patio and the back door leads to the garden.
A stainless steel braai trolley is available. Secure parking is available on the property.
3. The Rosewood
This two-sleeper bachelor unit with a full bathroom has a fully equipped kitchenette and a TV/Lounge area. The front door opens onto a sea-facing patio and the back door leads to the garden. A stainless steel braai (BBQ) trolley is available. Secure parking is available on the property.
4. Greta's
Lovely Deluxe Unit that sleeps 2, a separate bedroom with king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom that only has a shower. Open-plan, fully equipped kitchen. Sliding doors opening from lounge area onto a private wooden deck – beautiful sea view! The front door opens onto a sea-facing patio and the back door leads to the garden. A stainless steel braai trolley is available, unfortunately no braaing on the wooden deck. Secure parking in a lock up garage is available on the property.

Die Strandhuis offers self-catering accommodation situated in Umdloti, a small village on the coast of the warm Indian Ocean, located 11 kilometres south of King Shaka Airport and 25 kilometres north of Durban.
Die Strandhuis has 4 separate self-catering options: "The House", "Embuia", "Rosewood" and "Greta's". All are situated in a garden, boast full sea views, and are 60m metres from the beach and allow small breed doggies on request.
