Hotel Description

River rafting trips are offered along the Orange River in the summer months. It is well suited to families and adventurers, there is no ‘white’ water but good class 1 – 3 rapids – a great river experience. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Also on offer are horse riding trails through the Karoo countryside and Orange River Valley. Beginners are welcome. Places of interest in our area include Oviston and Gariep Nature Reserves, the Gariep Dam wall and hydro-electric station tours, Norval’s Pont concentration camp site and memorial.
