Hotel Charles can be found on the Buda side of the capital, only a few minutes walk away from Gellert Hill and not far from the Castle District. Public transportation is excellent in the area the bus stops right in front of the building and the second stop is already downtown Budapest with the famous Vaci pedestrian street.Instead of regular rooms the hotel offers studios, which means the guests get to use beside the room, an entirely equipped kitchenette, as well as a nice bathroom with shower or bath-tub. Standard category as well as Deluxe Studios have been totally refurbished recently - the latter ones offer the comfort and elegant atmosphere of a four star hotel room.
The hotel has 70 studios, most double (with the possibility to add an extra bed or baby-bed), but there are triples as well. Guests can leave their cars in a safe place, in the closed courtyard of the hotel for a surcharge, but on the streets near the hotel they can also park free of charge.
