Makuzi is a family owned business that we began in 1992. We have built our lodge to be Eco-friendly and have used local materials and expertise to build our "Paradise". We work hand in hand with our local community which gives our guests the opportunity to experience Malawi at its best. We have retained the beauty and exclusivity by only having eleven individual comfortable en-suite chalets, all with stunning lake views set in perfectly manicured gardens.
Sipping a cocktail or enjoying one of the chefs' delicious meals from the deck of the main lodge is an experience in itself. Makuzi enjoys an excellent reputation for its cuisine and guests are encouraged to enjoy a full African dining experience under the stars.
