Kings Lodge

On the edge of Hogsback State Forest, within walking distance of a restaurant, this low-key, family-run lodge is 31.2 km from Alice, home to the University of Fort Hare.

Simple rooms come with en suite bathrooms, pillow-top mattresses, and tea/coffeemaking equipment. Cottages add full kitchens, satellite TV, fireplaces and BBQs.

Buffet breakfast for hotel guests and served in the country-style restaurant. Buffet dinner is also available, and there's a publike bar offering light fare. Other amenities include an outdoor pool and a play area, as well as gardens with a bowling green, and a guest TV lounge with games.
