Hunter's Country House

Set in thatched-roof cottages among scenic gardens, this posh country hotel off the N2 freeway is 11 km from Plettenberg Bay and 24 km from Knysna.

Featuring private patios and gardens, the elegant, individually decorated suites offer minibars, fireplaces, and tea and coffee making facilities. The 2-bedroom family suites sleep up to 4 people; upgraded units have separate living rooms, flat-screen TVs and private pools.

Cooked breakfast is served in an airy glass-enclosed dining room. There's also an upscale restaurant, and an outdoor dining area for snacks and drinks. Other amenities include an outdoor pool, a library and a kids' play area.
