Self Catering Accomodation – “Whiskey Yankee” formally called Impangele.– This is the phonetic aviation language used by pilots flying over the Whiskey Yankee beacon near Wolseley. “Whiskey Yankee” is their language for the first and last letters of Wolseley.This unit is a larger self-catering unit with a full bathroom, queen size bed, a double bunk bed and a single couch bed in the lounge. It is ideal for a family of 4 or 5 people. It’s construction is of brick and mortar and also has a lovely wooden deck facing the mountains. There is also an indoor fireplace and outdoor braai facilities. You can witness the most magnificent sunsets from the deck of Whiskey Yankee. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave oven, two plate stove and all the little extras that a normal kitchen requires. This unit is beautifully decorated and has a true holiday atmosphere about it.
